As cast by Simmons it is a solid material that cannot delaminate and has the same properties throughout its entire thickness. It is moulded into a wide range of sizes to cater for the most exacting of laboratory specifications.

Simmons standard range of sinks and troughs are moulded complete with a fixing flange in order to simplify fitment and to optimise the integrity of the joint with the worktop.
An undermount sink is bonded and screwed to the underside of a worktop with the worktop overhanging the sink opening by 8mm all round. This fitment is adequate for many general laboratory applications.
The base of the sink slopes to a hole rebated to accept a waste fitting. Sinks can also be drilled to accept an overflow fitting. Simmons can supply sinks complete with a waste and overflow if requested.
