This is the traditional option and the first type of layout that many people consider. Whilst not strictly in the spirit of AS/NZS 2982.1, there are still some laboratories that will use this option. Novalab have a full range of floor mounted cabinets that will suit a variety of bench top options. Floor mounted furniture is solid and reliable, but ultimately lacks the versatility and flexibility of System 1000 or 4000.
