accordance with the methodology set out in AS/NZS 2924.1 and
fully comply with New Zealand standards.
About Us
For many years, Novalab Systems has been a name synonymous
with practical, innovative, quality laboratory furniture. The
original company started in 1977 and quickly established itself
as a leading supplier, not only to the New Zealand market, but
also for export. Novalab Systems provided the laboratories for
the University of Australia in Canberra and became the preferred
supplier to the Fred Hollows Foundation, supplying labs for
Eritrea, Nepal and Vietnam. As innovators, Novalab introduced
products such as solid core bench tops, epoxy resin sinks and
fully suspended cabinet systems.
A change of company ownership at the end of 2004 only served to
reinforce Novalab’s commitment to New Zealand’s scientific and
educational markets and to providing outstanding designs,
products and services. This dedication to quality and service
has also been rewarded with continuing export projects, which

products and designs. The new company retains the installation
expertise built up over a number of years and brings a complete
