Important Housekeeping Information for Stainless Steel Sinks
We strongly recommend the following maintenance program is
followed in all cases in order to avoid surface corrosion.
In all applications it is recommended that stainless steel sinks
are rinsed with plenty of fresh water and cleaned with a soft
cloth. The sink should then be dried. Chemical residues should
not be allowed to remain in these sinks for any extended period
of time and thorough cleaning and drying is essential to the
life span of the product.
In school applications this should be done after each lesson. If
this is not practical, it should be carried out at the end of
every school day or when the lab is not to be used for a few
hours.
In commercial laboratory applications this cleaning regime
should be followed on a regular basis during the day and sinks
should not be left for any length of time with chemical residues
in them. Sinks should be cleaned and dried at the end of every
working day.
