Construction

Bolt together modular frame system

Standard Module Widths:
1000mm
1200mm
1500mm

Wall benches from 600mm deep.

Island bench frames - variable widths to suit the application.

Finished bench heights to meet customer requirements.

Infill Modules:
To suit. Infill modules use standard leg frames. Non-standard module widths are simply accommodated by using island stay and glide rail lengths to suit the necessary space.

Steel Frame:
Leg Sets and Island Stays – Powder coated 19mm and 36mm mild steel
Glide Rails - Custom folded, powder coated mild steel.
Option for stainless steel in Grade 304.

Suspended Cabinets:
Cabinets are equipped with a pair of suspension rails to fit easily onto the frame glide rails. The notch in the rear of the suspension rail fits onto the rear glide rail and a spring loaded catch locates onto the front glide rail. This means that the under bench cabinets can be fitted anywhere within the frame work. (detail)

Under Bench Cabinets:
All under bench cabinets are constructed from 16mm thick melamine and can be specified in gloss white, coloured door and drawer fronts with gloss white carcass, or in full colour. Standard cabinets are supplied with full opening laboratory style hinges and “D” pull handles.
(sizes & configurations)

Bench Tops:
For most applications we recommend Novalab ResistopTM or Novalab Duratop high performance solid core phenolic resin bench tops (please see separate information). However, where needed, System 1000 will also support stainless steel, laminate, epoxy resin or any of the other bench top materials commonly used in laboratories.
