Fume Cupboards
Features & Benefits

1. Outer skin manufactured from powder coated steel. More robust and
easy to clean and maintain.
2. Inner chamber in 6 mm thick phenolic resin. Resistant to all
commonly used chemicals and capable of withstanding temperatures up
to 180 c.
3. Powder coated steel support frame for strength and durability.

Novalab fume cupboards are designed to allow maximum flexibility,
safety and durability.
The outer steel skin cannot burn and is not subject to damage by hot
objects. In the unlikely event of damage, the inner chamber
integrity is not affected and so will not affect the function of the
fume cupboard. All outer panels are replaceable and a wide range of
powder coat colours can add to the overall laboratory environment.
The inner chamber is manufactured from 6 mm thick phenolic resin.
Fire retardant, resistant to solvents, acids and alkalies and
capable of withstanding temperatures up to 180 c, phenolic resin
offers a far more robust, more versatile and mechanically stable
solution.
Standard fume cupboard bases are manufactured from Novalab
ResistopTM , our high performance laboratory work top. Now in use in
over 150 laboratory installations in New Zealand, it is chemical
resistant and fire retardant

Extraction
Powerful and quiet in operation, our standard centrifugal fans
provide the best in fume cupboard extraction
Novalab extraction systems feature:
- Direct drive motors – No belts means lower maintenance cost and trouble-free operation.
- Fully balanced impellor for longer life and more efficient, quieter operation
- Moulded fan housing
- Standard PVC ductwork and exhaust stack. Special materials are available on request.
- Option for a single phase in – three phase out speed control
